Welcome Resources and Programs
After accepting your admissions offer, you will receive communication regarding upcoming orientation and welcome programs at the school. These programs are designed to help you learn more about the University of Virginia and the School of Education and Human Development community. Visit our admitted new student page for more information on upcoming events and FAQS!
Student Engagement and Involvement
There many ways students stay involved with our community. You can join a student group, engage in discussion on the Canvas Virtual Community or attend an event on Grounds.
Resources
We encourage students to proactively seek out resources related to their overall well-being, academic success and professional development. The Student Affairs team is available to support you if you are facing challenges to may interrupt or impact your student experience.
Graduation
At the University of Virginia, graduation week is called Final Exercises. We are excited to celebrate our degree-seeking students (online and on Grounds!) at our graduation events.
