Biography

Sibylle Kranz is a registered dietitian and fellow of The Obesity Society. Her research focuses on dietary intake behavior and how diet/nutrition relates to health and learning outcomes, especially in preschoolers.

Kranz has served the professional community for almost two decades in many roles, such as chair of the Food and Nutrition section of the American Public Health Association and the Nutrition Epidemiology section of The Obesity Society. She was highly involved with the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND), is a member of the research integrity subcommittee of the Commission on Research of the Academy for Nutrition and Dietetics (AND), and has served on editorial boards for the Journal of the International Society for Behavioral Nutrition and Physical Activity (IJBNPA) and Nutrients, where Kranz manages two special issues.
