Applied Physiology of Exercise Laboratory
What We Do
The goal of our research is to combine physiological, biochemical and behavioral approaches to understanding the role of exercise, diet and pharmacotherapies on health and athletic performance.
Our research projects are both mechanistic and applied and focus on a variety of clinical conditions (cancer, diabetes, heart failure, obesity, Parkinson’s disease, peripheral arterial disease) as well as healthy subjects and elite athletes.
