Online Programs and Courses
Our online programs provide the same rigorous curriculum and high-quality instruction as our on-Grounds programs, but with a more flexible structure that's carefully designed to bring the UVA School of Education and Human Development experience online — so you can earn your degree on your terms.
““Each professor created a sense of community online, complete with visual presentations, lectures, forums, and practical application projects. The Curry School not only uses the same curriculum format as face-to-face, but the similar teaching methodology is reflected in the way the class is taught.”
– Carri Naumann-Monti, former Dean of Student Support, The Steward School
Many courses are taught by UVA School of Education and Human Development full-time faculty, and others by experienced working professionals. Our small class sizes, caring professors and interactive technology make sure that every student is engaged with a community of faculty and students to support them every step of the way. We offer the same lower-than-average online tuition rate for both in-state and out-of-state students, as well as discounted tuition for PreK-12 educators. Plus, students of our online degree programs graduate with a University of Virginia qualification, just like their on-Grounds peers.
