ODEI Faculty Fellows

The School of Education and Human Development's Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (ODEI) recognizes the importance of supporting and developing key DEIA competencies in the school’s community, helping the school achieve its Inclusive Excellence goals. In the fall of 2023, ODEI inaugurated the Faculty Fellows program, an initiative designed to strengthen the connections between EHD’s faculty and ODEI. The fellows will work directly with ODEI to develop and implement DEIA-focused program initiatives that continue EHD's engagement with and strengthening of inclusion, belonging, and social justice.

ODEI Faculty Fellows program goals:

  • The fellows will gain valuable experience and knowledge in higher education administration with a focus on DEIA;
  • The fellows will develop their leadership skills throughout their tenure, working with the School’s community and with external stakeholders to establish DEIA initiatives; and
  • The fellows will continue to develop their content knowledge on areas related to DEIA, belonging, and social justice.
