Biography

Christine Onyinyechi-Uju Emuka is a four-year Institute of Education Sciences fellow. Her research interests include ethnic-racial identity development, positive youth development, and the advancing of the well-being of Black youth across the diaspora. She centers her research around concepts that dignify radical social change, equity, and justice. She aims to conceptualize the complexities of developing with intersecting identities and multiple (sometimes competing) cultures.
