Biography

Christine Onyinyechi-Uju Emuka is a four-year Institute of Education Sciences fellow. She received her M.A. with honors in developmental psychology from San Francisco State University. Her research interests surround ethnic-racial identity development, racial-cultural school safety, and advancing the well-being of Black youth across the diaspora. She aims to conceptualize the complexities of developing with multiple (sometimes competing) cultures and ideologies.
