White House Cites School of Education and Human Development Affiliated Researchers

The 2023 Economic Report of the President referenced research from 17 UVA EHD-affiliated faculty, alumni, and staff.

Last week, researchers at the University of Virginia School of Education and Human Development were notified that their scholarship was cited in the 2023 Economic Report of the President.  Seventeen UVA-affiliated faculty, alumni, former postdoctoral fellows, and current and former staff were among those whose work was included in the report. 
 
School of Education faculty members cited include Daphna Bassok, Batten Bicentennial Associate Professor of Early Childhood Education; Kelli Bird, research assistant professor; Ben Castleman, Newton and Rita Meyers Associate Professor in the Economics of Education; Sarah Turner, University Professor of Economics and Education; Vivian Wong, associate professor; and Jim Wyckoff, Memorial Professor of Education. 
 
Alumni who earned their doctorates at UVA whose research was included in the economic report are Katharine Meyer, Justin Doromal, Jessalynn James, Scott Latham, and Andre Barr. Individuals who once served as postdoctoral fellows include Anna Markowitz, Laura Bellows, and Kelli Rosinger. Current and former staff whose work was included in the report are Molly Michie, Gabrielle Lohner, and Katharine Sadowski.
