Todd Hall studies early childhood education policy and discipline in both early childhood and K-12 settings. After earning his bachelor's degree in political economy, Hall joined the research network J-PAL North America. There he provided technical assistance to policymakers seeking to launch randomized evaluations of anti-poverty programs. Hall then worked for Empatico, an ed-tech nonprofit focused on developing social-emotional skills in young children.
