Biography

As an undergraduate, Simon Daniel was extensively involved with the work of the Rutgers Social-Emotional and Character Development (SECD) Lab, directed by Maurice J. Elias. In the fall of 2022, Daniel began his graduate studies under the mentorship of Michael D. Lyons. His research interests lie at the intersection of prevention science, policy, and advocacy. Specifically, he is interested in the implementation and evaluation of preventative school-based programs, school mental health, and using research outcomes to inform public policy.
