Katelyn Birchfield

Katelyn Birchfield's work focuses on school climate, mental health, and culturally responsive teaching practices, primarily in rural school settings. She has several years of experience conducting research in various classroom settings and teaching at both the elementary and middle school levels, general and special education. Birchfield is a former middle school special education teacher, whose focuses were behavior management and literacy education. Birchfield holds certifications in autism and teaching English as a second language.
