Chelsea Ann Kaihoi

Chelsea Kaihoi's research interests center around adult mental health and cultural competence in developmental spaces for children and youth; her work has spanned other topics including self-regulatory development in young children, family stress, and teachers' classroom management. As an applied methodologist, Kaihoi has conducted analyses for multiple federally funded randomized control trials. She currently works on projects focused on teachers' cultural responsiveness and equitable practices. Prior to her work in academia, Kaihoi taught high school mathematics and worked as a research assistant at RAND Corporation.
