Becky Newell

Becky Newell's interests revolve around strategizing and implementing community outreach. In her current position, Newell loves working with community members helping folks to engage with the LinkB5 data portal to ensure Virginia’s early childhood care and education community is represented in its entirety. She loves shining a light on communities that are underserved and underseen.

Prior to this position, Newell advocated for and taught children with dyslexia. She is extremely passionate about the science of reading and advocating for students who struggle to learn how to read.
