Biography
Andrew Avitabile is an education policy Ph.D. student. His research interests are in teacher labor markets and improving education in low- and middle-income countries. He previously worked as an associate economist at the Indeed Hiring Lab and a Research Associate at the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) at MIT. He also has experience working as an English teacher in Brazil, evaluating social policies at a non-profit, and working in economic consulting.
