Biography

Sharon Shaffer leads students in an introductory exploration of social foundations of education and the relationship between school and society. Shaffer engages with students to examine the origins of education, analyze the evolution of schooling in America, and reflect on current social issues. She is passionate about children's learning in schools and museums.
