Biography
Mya Howard earned her undergraduate degree in psychology and, following graduation, worked as a research assistant at Michigan State University in the MSU Autism Lab. Under the mentorship of Brooke Ingersoll, she worked on a study examining the effectiveness of parent-mediated Reciprocal Imitation Teaching when taught through the Part C Early Intervention System.
Howard joined the clinical and school psychology doctoral program in the fall of 2023 under the mentorship of Micah Mazurek. Her research interests include examining ways to support caregivers of children on the autism spectrum as well as improving access to evidence-based services.
