Libby Garrett

Libby Garrett is a doctoral student in developmental psychology, working with Professor Angeline Lillard in the Montessori Science lab. Garrett's area of research is Montessori education, inspired by her previous experience working as an early childhood Montessori teacher in Milwaukee Public Schools. She is especially interested in student outcomes in Title I public Montessori schools, Montessori teacher job satisfaction, and the development of executive functioning skills in Montessori students. Prior to her work in education, Garrett was an orchestral musician and served on the music faculty of Wisconsin Lutheran College.
