Kelly Cush Hughes

Kelly Hughes works directly with the Virginia Kindergarten Readiness Program (VKRP) as a coordination and outreach specialist. She organizes and supports data collection efforts in public schools for the VKRP statewide initiative. 

Prior to joining CASTL, Hughes worked directly with students with disabilities for five years as an administrator of a regional special education school. Between her first teaching position and her last as a school principal, she spent several years as a division-level administrator working in special education and student services.
