Biography

Before coming to UVA, Julia Raven worked as a data and research study coordinator in the Developmental Mechanisms program at Northwestern University, linking children’s moods, behaviors, and social environments with clinical mental health oucomes.

As a current student of Professor Jason Downer, Raven researches long-term impacts of school-based social-emotional learning programs on teacher and student wellness and is interested in studying for whom SEL interventions work best to inform future program design.
