Biography
Helena Goldbaum is a Ph.D. student in the educational psychology–applied developmental sciences program. Goldbaum's research examines why, how, and under what conditions curiosity and persistence can be promoted in children, as well as how their social learning environments shape STEM learning, motivation, and decision-making. Prior to joining the program, Goldbaum worked in Kelsey Lucca’s developmental psychology lab at Arizona State University and in Elizabeth Spelke’s lab at Harvard University.
