Biography

Celeste Sumo joined UVA in March 2023 to support the early childhood initiatives and project goals of ECE Virginia. 

Prior to joining UVA, Sumo worked as an assistant director at Drexel's Lindy Center for Civic Engagement in Philadelphia. Her work background also includes extensive work in operations management, nonprofit management, and early childhood education.
