Robert Perez

Robert Perez is the director of operations for the Center for Advanced Study of Teaching and Learning (CASTL). In this role, he supports both CASTL's day-to-day and strategic needs, including areas such as staffing, finance, and communications. Prior to joining UVA, Perez previously supported researchers at Harvard University and The Brookings Institution in roles focused on grants and finance management.

Originally from Austin, TX, Perez now calls Albemarle County home with his wife, Melinda, three sons, Xavier, Orlando, and Jonas, and dog, Adelaide. He enjoys gaming, coaching youth baseball, and running.
