Miriam Rushfinn supports and fosters connections between CASTL’s Commonwealth Early Childhood Education initiatives(Virginia Kindergarten Readiness Program, Advancing Effective Interactions & Instruction, STREAMin3, Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation, and ECE Resource Hub). For over 30 years, Rushfinn has worked in management and director roles focused on increasing equity and access to high-quality educational opportunities for children, youth, and families. Prior to CASTL, Rushfinn's recent positions include manager of youth educational and career exploratory programs at a community college, director of a regional public-private school readiness coalition, and technical assistance program officer for early childhood school readiness coalitions in Virginia.
