Kristin Henningsen

Kristin is the Managing Director of the Operations division of CornerStone Partners, an Outsourced CIO firm located in Charlottesville, Virginia. CornerStone currently manages approximately $9 billion in assets for 13 not-for-profit foundation and endowment clients. Kristin joined CornerStone in 2011 as the first member of a newly formed Operations division, which under her leadership, has grown to a team of 8 to serve the expanding operational needs of CornerStone’s clients, including performance reporting and reconciliation, portfolio administration, audit and tax support, document management, and custodian management.

Prior to joining CornerStone, Kristin worked for a large regional public accounting firm, managing various engagements in the areas of financial statement audits and accounting, tax compliance, and consulting, for clients across a broad range of industries, including investment companies and not-for-profit entities. While in public accounting, Kristin also spent significant time in the areas of valuation of closely-held companies and litigation support.
