Biography

Genevieve Bohac is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist and has worked extensively with individuals with developmental disabilities and learning difficulties in educational and clinical settings. Prior to joining the Supporting Transformative Autism Research (STAR) initiative team, she worked as a school psychologist in a large urban district in Phoenix, Arizona, and as the student services coordinator in Staunton, Virginia. Her work has focused on supporting educators, students, and families as they navigate the world of special education services.

Her specific research interests are in the areas of inclusive practices within educational settings, family and school collaboration models and methods, and evaluation and assessment practices.

Bohac lives in Charlottesville with her husband, 3 children, and 2 dogs.
