Eric Mininberg

Biography

As a leader in his field, Dr. Eric Mininberg diagnoses and treats patients with all cancer types. Dr. Mininberg joined Piedmont Cancer Institute in 2003 and serves as the president of PCI.

While at MD Anderson Cancer Center, Dr. Mininberg was honored with the Elsa U. Pardee Foundation Grant for Community Oncology. He was awarded the American Society of Clinical Oncology Merit Award.

Dr. Mininberg has numerous publications and abstracts in Hematology and Oncology. He currently remains actively involved in clinical research trials. Among his interests, he was previously an intern for Congressman John Myers of the Seventh District of Indiana. He also studied government at Oxford University in England in 1991.

He is married and has two children. He loves to cook and has a large friendly rescue retriever mix named "Nickel".
