Biography

Daniel P. Hallahan's research focuses on students with learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, ADHD, ASD, blindness, deafness, as well as parents of children with disabilities. Hallahan's specific research interests are cognitive and metacognitive strategies; intensive and systematic instruction, especially for students with LD and/or ADHD; and epidemiological factors affecting the prevalence of disabilities, identification for special education, and educational placement decisions.
