Audrey Breen is the senior writer and research communications strategist in the Office of Communications and Marketing. Breen joined UVA EHD in 2008 as the founding communications director, a role she held until 2014 when she stepped down to work part-time. Her current portfolio includes writing and editing, managing the content strategy, and leading the research communications strategy. Prior to joining UVA, Breen served as assistant director of the Riley Institute at Furman University, an education and policy institute founded by former U.S. Secretary of Education Richard W. Riley.
