Anna Yonas' research focuses on improving novice teachers' instruction of emotionally difficult histories. She is particularly interested in instructional coaching and feedback through practice-based teaching opportunities to prepare preservice teachers.
Before beginning her doctoral studies, Yonas was a classroom teacher and administrator for ten years. She brings this experience to her work as a teacher educator.
