Biography

With over 25 years of experience in corporate Travel and Expense software, Fred Fredericks is currently the General Manager and Chief Product Officer of SAP Concur, the world’s largest provider in the T&E space. In this role, Fredericks has responsibility for all aspects of Concur’s multi-billion-dollar product portfolio, with an additional focus on overall product strategy and engineering. An industry leader, Fredericks is lead or co-inventor of 12 patents and was recently recognized as one of the top 25 most influential people in business travel by Business Travel Magazine.

Fredericks received a B.A. in Mathematics from the University of Virginia and an M.A. in computer science from the University of Maryland.

Fredericks and his wife Lisa (EHD ‘96) live in Fairfax, Virginia, where Lisa currently works as a substitute elementary school teacher. They have three children, the oldest of which graduated UVA in 2023.
