What are your plans after graduation?
Work in education policy for a school district or in state-level politics.
What activities are you involved in at UVA?
Black Men's Initiative, Black Voices Gospel Choir, Educational Policy Research, and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
Why EHD?
EHD is full of students and faculty who are kind, compassionate, and want to make a difference in the world. The coursework challenges your previously held assumptions and there are plenty of opportunities available to support your unique interests. Through my coursework, I'm learning to think outside the box and cut through the partisan rhetoric that often dominates our discourse.
