Breanna is a Speech Communication Disorders major from Sedley, VA.
My academic experience in the Education School has been positive and truly rewarding. I feel as though my education and well-being as a college student, as well as a blooming adult, have been brought to the forefront and remained a priority to all staff in the Education School. I have loved creating interpersonal relationships with staff and students while taking classes that are fun and one-of-a-kind.
Outside of class, I'm involved with Area Three Special Olympics, Autism Allies, Dressember UVA, Her Campus UVA, Madison House Recreational Therapy, and the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association. In my free time, I love reading, shopping, socializing with friends, trying new foods and cooking new recipes.
I hope to go to graduate school to continue my education and earn my master's degree, and then move forward to conduct research in either autism or traumatic brain injuries.
