The Northern Virginia Center, in Falls Church, VA offers part-time programs and courses to those who seek continued education. The Northern Virginia Center courses are conveniently scheduled for working professionals. To further support your education and career growth, we offer a substantially reduced tuition rate for those in K-12 education, and for those taking online courses who are not in K-12 education.

Northern Virginia Center (Falls Church) Programs:

Administration & Supervision:  Master’s Degree (M. Ed.), Doctorate of Education (Ed. D.), Doctor of Philosophy in Education- Administration and Supervision (Ph. D.)

Reading Education:  Master's Degree (M. Ed.) in Curriculum & Instruction: Reading, Education Specialist, Reading Certificate, Adolescent Literacy Certificate

**Note: You may take courses as a non-degree student before being accepted into a program. 6 credits (typically 2 courses) are eligible to be transferred into a program. 

Online Programs:

Special Education:  Master of Teaching Degree (M.T.) with professional teaching endorsement in Special Education K-12: General Studies

Social Foundations:  Master’s Degree (M. Ed.)

Professional Studies:  Course series for the alternative route to licensure, professional learning, re-certification

Curriculum & Instruction:  Master’s Degree (M. Ed.) with focus areas in Literacy, Gifted Education, English as a Second Language, Instructional Technology, Science Education, Applied Behavior Analysis (BCBA)

Reading Education:  Master's Degree (M. Ed.) in Curriculum & Instruction: Reading, Doctorate of Education (Ed. D.), Education Specialist (Ed. S.) , Reading Certificate, Adolescent Literacy Certificate

Gifted Education:  Course Series leading to endorsement

English Language Learners:  Course Series leading to endorsement

Individual Courses  - Offered every term for continuing education, re-certification/keeping teaching license current, start or test out a degree program early
