Three students from the Ed Policy MPP/Ph.D dual degree program were inducted into Pi Alpha Alpha, the global honor society for schools of public policy, public affairs, and public administration, in the inaugural class at UVA.

Rising 3rd years Emily Wiseman, Kylie Anglin and Justin Doromal were honored while graduating with their Masters in Public Policy from the Frank Batten School of Leadership & Public Policy in May 2018. These three students have continued in their dual degree program to earn a Ph.D in Education Policy from the Curry School of Education.

Inductees into this global honors society are seen as leaders in their field and within the school, university, and the larger community. The UVA chapter of Pi Alpha Alpha works to establish a shared culture of support, respect, and engagement.

Wiseman, Anglin and Doromal are also researchers at EdPolicyWorks and fellows in the Virginia Educational Sciences Training (VEST) Program.
