Charlottesville and Albemarle County

Our town and surrounding county are nestled between the Piedmont Mountains to the east and the Blue Ridge Mountains to the west.  Charlottesville is located approximately 100 miles southwest of Washington, DC and 70 miles northwest of Richmond, VA. Charlottesville is a great place to live and go to school. It is a wonderful combination of metropolitan and rural living.  For an introduction to the place we know as C'ville, please check out these videos.
