Kinesiology Enrollment Guide
With UVA summer orientation coming up, there’s a lot you can do to prepare. One of the biggest things you will do while on Grounds is enroll in your first semester of classes.
How To Prepare

We will also have loaner laptops for students to use. You will be directed to connect to the UVA secure WIFI for your laptop and other devices.

You will need to do this before you arrive so that you can connect once you are at UVA. Write down your password until you memorize it; do not allow your computer to “remember” the login.
SIS: How to Enroll SIS Help Center -
One course is already reserved for you: everyone will enroll in Intro to Kinesiology – KINE 2000. You will most likely enroll in 3-4 additional courses.

We will ask that all students enroll in 13-16 total credits at orientation.

The more prepared you are before you come, the more likely that you will get into your top choice courses. Another reason to bring your own laptop or mobile device, if possible.

Things To Consider
AP CreditHave you reviewed the plan of study for Kinesiology?
Did you mail in your final high school transcripts and any transfer/dual enrollment transcripts to UVA’s Office of Undergraduate Admissions?
Do you know which courses you will receive AP or dual enrollment credit for?
IB Credit
Dual Enrollment/Transfer Credit
