Kennedy Weisner is a Research Specialist at EdPolicyWorks, a joint collaboration between the School of Education and Human Development and the Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy. She works on research projects that aim to inform state and local efforts to improve early childhood education systems in Louisiana and Virginia. She previously researched state child care subsidy policies at the Urban Institute and studied K-12 education policy as a research assistant at Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Journalism and a Master’s degree in Public Policy, both from Georgetown University.
