Global Involvement
To be successful global citizens, workers, and leaders, American students will need to be knowledgeable about the world, be able to communicate in other languages, and be informed and active about decisions and problems that impact the global community. This statement from the 2008 NEA National Summit on Raising Global Awareness in US Public Schools is reflected in School of Education and Human Development’s growing participation with international partners.
