What We Do

The STAR initiative is led by the School of Education and Human Development in partnership with colleagues across the University. STAR aims to improve the lives of individuals with autism through groundbreaking research and innovative models for intervention and training.

Who We Are

We are working together to directly improve outcomes for individuals with autism and their families through interdisciplinary partnerships and innovations in diagnosis, care, support and education.  By integrating training into these efforts, we are building the workforce of professionals with specialized training in autism.

About Our Work

Our work is anchored in an appreciation for the unique strengths of every individual and family, a commitment to excellence and evidence-based practice, an emphasis on community collaboration and partnership, and a focus on improving broader systems of care.
