PALS español


PALS español K and 1-3 identify Spanish-speaking children who may be at risk for developing reading difficulties. They also provide teachers with valuable diagnostic information that helps them target instruction to individual students’ needs, whether instruction is in Spanish or in English. Research is currently underway to develop PALS español PreK, which will assess children’s early literacy skills and provide guidance to teachers regarding how to support the literacy development of their Spanish-speaking three- and four-year-olds.
