The National Study of Living-Learning Programs (NSLLP)
Prior to her arrival at UVa in January 2011, Dr. Inkelas was the Principal Investigator of the National Study of Living-Learning Programs, which was awarded two grants from the National Science Foundation to study the role of living-learning programs in facilitating the success of women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) majors. Dr. Inkelas has also secured extramural funds from the American College Personnel Association (ACPA), the Association of College & University Housing Officers International (ACUHO-I), and the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA). The 2007 NSLLP data collection included over 50 postsecondary institutions across the United States, and over 20,000 undergraduate respondents in over 600 living-learning programs.
