MyTeachingPartner: 4Rs Social-Emotional Learning Program
This project seeks to improve elementary students’ social-emotional and academic learning by developing enhanced implementation supports for teachers’ effective delivery of an integrated social-emotional learning and literacy curriculum in urban, third through fifth grade classrooms. In particular, the developers of an integrated social-emotional learning and literacy curriculum (4Rs – Reading, Writing, Respect, and Resolution), which has been validated in recent randomized controlled trials, will partner with the developers of a validated approach to supporting high-quality and effective implementation of curricula (MyTeachingPartner™). This partnership will develop and test a package of teacher-focused supports that enhance implementation of the 4Rs curriculum and improve its impact on students’ social and academic performance.
