You Can Do Hard Things: Certainty in the Uncertainty

Feb 15, 2022 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM

Holloway Hall

Taking up the trademark phrase of the NY Times bestseller Untamed by Glennon Doyle and her podcast “We Can Do Hard Things,” You Can Do Hard Things is a graduate student-focused series, co-sponsored by the Office of Student Affairs and the Office of DEI, that acknowledges a hard truth graduate students know too well: grad school is freaking HARD. This spring, Jessica Livingston (Director of Student Affairs) and Catalina Piatt-Esguerra (DEI Programs Manager) will facilitate conversations about those unexpectedly hard things that come along with graduate school, including the certainty of uncertainty and the search for joy. You Can Do Hard Things aims to empower all our graduate students to feel a bit lighter and braver, freer and less alone through community building and honest discussion about graduate life. Join us this spring on February 15 and April 21. RSVP here. Food provided
