High Quality Teaching Benchmarks – Small Changes for Big Impact

In 2021, Dean Pianta charged Associate Dean Catherine Brighton and a committee of faculty to consider how we evidence high quality teaching and how we can support the development of our teaching practices. In this workshop, we will focus on two aspects of high quality teaching: inclusive, equitable, and representative and challenging, informed, and responsive. Workshop activities will include a syllabus review and a graphic organizer for planning teaching activities. Light breakfast and lunch will be provided.
