Cooper Speaker Series: Saina Chelagat

Saina Chelagat, Psychiatrist at Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital in Eldoret, Kenya, oversees treatment recommendations and referrals for specialized care for patients with disabilities or mental health support needs. In this role, Dr. Chelagat supports families in navigating care and educational options for their child and consults with local schools in western Kenya. Dr. Chelagat has been integral in several global health collaborations through the AMPATH partnership between Moi University, Moi Teaching Referral Hospital, and the University of Virginia.
