Kindel Turner Nash, Spangler Distinguished Professor of Early Literacy in the Department of Child Development, Literacy, and Special Education at Appalachian State University, will present a Cooper Lecture on Wednesday, September 13th in Holloway Hall from 11:00 am to 12:15 pm. The title is "The Children Come Full: Toward a Cultural Sustenance Model of Literacy Learning.”
This lecture is sponsored by the Cooper Speaker Series, and it is open to all UVA faculty, postdoctoral researchers, students, and staff. You do not need to RSVP in order to attend.
