Cooper Speaker Series: Anne-Lise Halvorsen

Anne-Lise Halvorsen, Professor in the Department of Teacher Education at Michigan State University, will present a Cooper Lecture on Wed. Oct. 4th in Holloway Hall from 11:00 am to 12:15 pm. The title is "Elementary Social Studies: Perils, Problems, and Possibilities.” Dr. Halvorsen’s current work focuses on the history of elementary social studies education, project-based learning, lesson study, and historical thinking.

This lecture is sponsored by the Cooper Speaker Series, and it is open to all UVA faculty, postdoctoral researchers, students, and staff. You do not need to RSVP in order to attend.
