- Newcomb Hall, 400 Emmet Street South, Charlottesville, Virginia 22903
The Educators’ Expo is an annual event sponsored by the UVA School of Education & Human Development Career Services Office. The Expo has attracted up to 300+ education students from all academic levels. Typically, 60-100+ education employers have participated in the past recruiting for full-time & summer positions. We are also offering an alternative Virtual Ed Expo (that will also serve as an inclement weather make-up date) on Thursday, February 15, 2024 this year.
Schedule for In-Person Ed Expo:
- 10am - 12noon: The Job Fair begins; this portion of the event allows students/candidates to meet education recruiters and schedule interviews for the afternoon, if not previously scheduled.
- 12noon - 5pm: Interviews: Recruiters conduct 30-minute scheduled interviews with individual candidates, using the 4th floor assigned Interview Suites. Interviews are mutually arranged by candidates and recruiters either in advance or potentially at the morning Job Fair earlier in the day.
Who Should/Can Attend? Educators’ Expo welcomes all students/alumni/candidates (not just from UVA) interested in PK-12 school counseling, administration, teaching or other positions (including SLP and Nursing).
