The Multilingual Tutors Project
The Multilingual Tutors Project is a school-based intervention that pairs multilingual university students with English Learners in local high schools through the UVA Equity Center. The project seeks to explore the impact of dual-language pedagogical approaches in tutoring settings, specifically in schools where most students do not have access to dual-language programming. This project offers the opportunity for survey design and implementation as well as in-depth ethnographic research with local school partners. The research is led by Chris Chang-Bacon in partnership with the UVA Equity Center.
