I have loved being in the Education School! I am so grateful for the incredible hands-on learning experiences, the professors who are always looking out for me, and the students that I have met along the way. As a smaller community within the university, the Education School has helped me find my place at UVA. I love that the Education School is filled with students and faculty members who are so passionate about what they are pursuing. This energy is contagious, and being able to learn from others here has helped me grow so much, both in and out of the classroom. My interests have drastically expanded and I am excited to see where this takes me in the future!

Outside of class, I serve as the Fundraising Chair of Pancakes for Parkinson's, I'm a flutist in the Charlottesville Symphony Orchestra, I participate in research in the School of Nursing, and I also serve as Wellness Chair of my sorority and as a member of Omicron Delta Kappa honor society. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, running, and spending time outside with friends. I also love exploring new cafes or restaurants, and experimenting in my own kitchen!

After graduation, I hope to attend physical therapy school. I am very passionate about empowering others through movement, and I look forward to connecting with diverse patients to help them maximize their quality of life!
