Dr. Chris Kuenze is an associate professor in the Department of Kinesiology and a co-director of the Exercise & Sport Injury Lab. He received his PhD in Sports Medicine from the University of Virginia in 2013. His research interests include impact of anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury and surgical reconstruction (ACLR) on physical activity participation and lower extremity biomechanics. The goals of his research are to reduce ACL re-injury risk and promote positive long-term joint health and wellbeing. Dr. Kuenze has authored or co-authored more than 75 peer-reviewed journal articles and has presented at a variety of national and international meetings.
